Claim, Correct or Remove a Directory Listing
Taxly's directory is generated from the Tax Practitioners Board Public Register, published as open data on data.gov.au under a CC BY 4.0 licence. We did not collect it from you, and we do not add to it.
What we publish
- Practitioner name and, where the register lists one, the registered practice name.
- Registration type (tax agent or BAS agent) and TPB registration number.
- Suburb, postcode and state.
What we never publish
- Street addresses — the register contains them; we drop them at import and they are not in any file we serve.
- Phone numbers and email addresses.
- Anything you send us. Correction requests and enquiries are used to answer you, and are not sold, rented or passed to advertisers.
Ask us to change something
Email [email protected] from an address we can tie to the practice, quoting your TPB registration number, and tell us which of these you want:
- Correct a detail — usually a locality the register has wrong or out of date.
- Remove my listing — we suppress the registration number so it is excluded from the directory, the practitioner page, the suburb pages and the search index, and stays excluded through every future refresh of the register.
- Claim the listing — tell us how you would like the practice described, or ask to be contacted when practitioner-managed profiles open.
We aim to action requests within five business days. Removal here removes you from taxly.au only; the TPB register itself is published by the TPB, and you would need to contact them about the source record.
Enquiries we pass on
When a visitor uses an enquiry form on this site, their message goes to Taxly. We contact the practitioner first and only share the visitor's contact details once the practitioner agrees to take the enquiry. Practitioners are not charged for this and no placement is for sale on the directory pages.
